VI714 Making Videos using Powerpoint Part 5
In this part we’re embedding your chosen video into the frame.
We start by clicking on the “Insert” tab and clicking on “Video”.
We then select the video to embed – by clicking on the option from the dropdown menu.
The video will load into the frame “in front” of it. This is where we shall be tweaking things to make them fit.
Start by grabbing the handles to to resize the video to appear within the inner frame’s border.
The hover over the anticlockwise circular arrow prompt above the video. Right mouse click when the crosshair cursor appears.
From the dropdown menu under the “Start” option – select “Automatically”.
Next we shall be moving the video so it “sits behind” the frame.
Hover the cursor anywhere over the video and right mouse click.
From the dropdown menu select “Send to Back” and from the sub-menu select “Send to Back”.
We’re now ready to save the package as a video. We’re covering this in the next Part.
Note : If you’re already comfortable with saving Powerpoint files as videos – go ahead and skip the next Part. However, you may wish to have a look at Part 7 “It’s a Wrap”.
